About Us

Epiphany Life Change is a ministry designed to support men and women on their spiritual journeys after a period spent behind bars. We start inside prison walls to equip and empower disciples to become the next generation of Christian church leaders to positively influence Houston’s inner-city communities and beyond.

Vision – We envision a future where prisons become places of worship – led by the incarcerated, supported by churches and volunteers, and transformed by the power of Christ-centered leadership development.

To that end, Epiphany Life Change exists To equip incarcerated men and women with certified Christian leadership development that brings real change, real hope, and lasting impact behind prison walls and beyond.

Our Impact – These classes are not just Bible studies—they are equipping grounds for discipleship and servant leadership. The transformation is undeniable: increased faith, literacy, and self-control… and a drop in recidivism from over 70% to less than 10%.
Right now, we serve nearly 400 students across 19 units in the greater Houston area. But the need is growing. If you’ve ever wondered how your church can reach into hard places with real hope—this is your opportunity.

We are currently set to start classes in 2 women’s prisons and 2 additional men’s prisons in 2026.
